Let the Games Begin! Create aMazing mazes, Mario style games and other 2D games. Animate your characters, create colourful monsters and traps. See if you can beat your own high scores! Develop game strategies with increasing difficulties as your character progresses through the levels. Software: Gamemaker.
Create Space Games! Start by making a remake of Space Invaders! And beyond that? The universe is your limit or should I say the universes are your limits! Software: Gamemaker.
Onwards and Upwards with Artificial Intelligence! Develop more difficullt challenges - test the limits of your players and your skills. Introduce Artificial Intelligence - make powerful and crafty enemies! Software: Gamemaker.

RPG Game Design Create your own original role-playing games. Design your own characters and fantasy worlds. You make the rules, plot the map and you determine battleground and game stategies. Software: RPG Maker.

TEEN Game Design: The pace is quicker in this camp. It's kind of like two camps in one. We'll cover RPG game design and 2D Mario style games as well. A look at game design, creating game art and game strategies. Plus cover concepts such as artificial intelligence. Software: Gamemaker and RPG Maker.
Game Design Camps. Which one? Let the Games Begin! In this camp the focus is on designing 2D games, a lot like Pacman or Paper Mario. Types of games include mazes, platformers, scrolling shooters, paddle ball games and other 2D games. You will learn about the different things that go into game creation. You will design the characters, draw the backgrounds, learn about strategic game design and be introduced to ‘programming’ and writing scripts in the level 2 camp. RPG Game Design Camp is game design with the emphasis on the story (Role Playing Games). In this camp you will create your own game story and plan a quest. You will have lots of opportunity to create dialogs between characters, set up many levels, towns, buildings or worlds that your characters will move through. An example of an RPG game is Everquest.
