Our Leader-in-Training Program is open to teens 14 years of age or older. Through the week LITs will have a chance to review the basics of Animation, Video Game Design, Digital Graphics and Robotics and refine their skills.

There will also be sessions on childcare and safety, Artech teaching philosophies and public presentation skills.

Through the week they will have opportunities to research and present new materials to their peers. They will be guided in basic program and activity planning and have a chance to test run some program ideas.

LITs will be expected to volunteer in at least three different camps through the summer.

The Leader-in-Training program can be repeated as new materials are added each year. LITs who have completed at least one year of LIT training and volunteer work and are at least 17 years of age* may submit applications to work at Artech Camps or afterschool programs.

* In some locations the age requirement may be lower depending on the size of camp and overall number of staff.
